Wheels to Work Silverstone has been launched by Spyder Motorcycles.
Wheels to Work Silverstone is a non-profit scheme providing 50cc and 125 cc scooter and 125cc motorcycle hire in Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Warwickshire and Berkshire. Scooters and mopeds will be available to hire in Northampton, Oxford, Kettering, Bedford and more.
Based at Silverstone Race Circuit, Wheels to Work Silverstone can to help people get to work, school or college when public transport is difficult. If you live in Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire or Berkshire we can provide you with a scooter that may be free for a period of time or with reduced rental payments.
If there is limited public transport where you live, you are actively seeking employment or you work anti-social hours, you may be eligible for a grant to cover some or all of the costs of the scooter, training and protective clothing.
Scooters and mopeds can be rented from one week and beyond and can even be delivered it to your door. Scooters currently available include a range from Piaggio and Yamaha, including the Piaggio Liberty 50cc and 125cc and the Yamaha YS125
If you don’t qualify for the scheme, you can still hire a great scooter or 125cc motorcycles. Scooter rental is a cost effective and convenient way to get where you want to go, parking and congestion fees are often a lot less too!
Spyder Motorcycles offer scooter and moped rental for businesses, including electric scooter hire for companies wishing to reduce their carbon footprint. We also offer scooter hire for Silversone events such as Formula One and MotoGP.
