Spyder Club Road Review: the A87, Invergarry to Kyle of Lochalsh, Scotland

April 16th, 2013

Scotland offers the motorcyclist some of the most stunning scenery in the world and quiet, breathtaking roads on which to ride! In July we’ll be making our fourth journey north of the border and meeting several guests who’ll be returning for a third time. One of our most popular trips, Scotland really does offer everything.

Our trip takes us from Glasgow on day one, along the west coast, past Fort William and on to Invergarry where we always stop for a drink at the Invergarry Hotel which marks the start of the fantastic A87.

This has to be one of the all time great roads, 50 miles of sweeping tarmac through dramatic scenery that only Scotland can offer. We are very lucky to have been able to experience so many challenging roads throughout Europe; this is one that’s remembered by all!

It’s the perfect end to day one, that and a beer once off the bikes to discuss it! It’s so good we made it the start of the third and final day of the Spyder Club Scottish trip, it has to be experienced.

If you are planning a ride or drive to Scotland, be sure to put the A87 into the route. If you don’t smile the entire way, there’s something wrong with you!!!
