The Pyrenees Mountains

14th - 18th September 2018

The Pyrenees Mountains

4 Nights

Our last trip to the stunning Pyrenees Mountains where the views and roads are superb was four years ago and therefore we are long overdue a return, so roll on September 2018.

The Pyrenees Mountains offers some of Europe’s best riding, from fast sweeping bends skirting the edges of a mountains to tight, twisting turns and climbing up to spectacular views.

And whether in France or on the Spanish side, road surfaces are excellent and there are ample places along the routes for coffee stops where you can admire the breathtaking scenery and recall the days riding with a smile.

As with all Spyder Motorcycle’s trips, guests will be met with bikes waiting and four great routes planned. With group sizes dropping to six from mid 2018, Spyder Motorcycles offers a relaxed atmosphere of likeminded guests to ride with.

Day 1

Having flown into Barcelona the day before and been transferred to the Parador hotel where we’ll stay for the duration of the trip, we’ll start day one with a trip briefing after breakfast, before heading out to the bikes to go through any questions riders may have.

Saturday’s route will be a figure of eight, heading east into the Parc Naturel Regional des Pyrenees Catalans. Eventually we’ll head south and then north westerly to ride though Andorra before returning to the hotel after a reasonably long day, 240 miles.

Day 2

A shorter day of 175 miles which heads in the opposite direction to the day before. Our path enjoys the Parc Nacional d’Aiguestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici and sections of the superb N-260.

Day 3

A circular route takes the group along a favourite Pyrenees route, the aptly named Go-Kart track. A skinny, twisting road, it’s a great way to put a smile upon your face. With 200 miles of riding, it’ll be another good day in the saddle.

Day 4

Guests will be required to book flights after 18.30 as we’ll aim to arrive at the airport by 17.00 latest. We finish the riding off with a 130 mile route which takes in more of the N-260 and gets us back to the hotel in time for transfers back to Barcelona.

Join us on your own bike, either ride it to the start or we’ll take it there and you can fly to meet us, please get in touch to discuss member and non-member costs and availability. For more details or to book your place call us on + 44 1327 857 213 or email Spyder Motorcycles.
